“我母亲怎么样了？”一出电梯，莫尘就飞奔到病房外，看见护工站在门口等他，可是……表情似乎有些不对。
“你说啊！我母亲到底怎么样了？”莫尘真的快要急疯了。
“你母亲……已经走了……就在一个小时前。”
护工有点胆怯，深怕莫尘会突然发疯，把责任推卸到他头上，认为是他的失职才导致老人的去世……
可是莫尘并没有。而是挥了挥手，让护工走了。
莫尘进入病房，并没有看到护工感激的眼神。
“妈……儿子不孝！您连儿子最后一眼都没看到……妈……对不起，对不起，是我的错，我不该给你请护工，然后自己出国……妈，对不起……”看着床上一袭白色床单盖着的人，莫尘不禁趴在上面大哭起来。
一旁的叶成林完全不敢出声，但是当她听到莫尘后悔出国的时候……叶成林眼眶湿润了……
她默默的走出了病房，留给莫尘一个单独的空间。
连病房外的走廊上都弥漫着一股悲伤的气息。叶成林坐在靠椅上，似乎是在思考着什么。
“董事长！有大少爷的线索了。”蒋氏集团办公室内，秘书正在给蒋林棕报告着。
“把他给我绑回来！”蒋林棕生气的说道。
“但是，董事长，不为大少爷留点时间处理后事吗？”秘书考虑的十分周到。
“那就先看看情况吧……”蒋林棕愣了一下，随即说道。
半个多小时以后，莫尘走出了病房，叶成林看到他哭红的双眼，不禁难过起来。
“莫尘哥哥…”叶成林非常想安慰莫尘，却不知道如何开口。
“成林，你先回加拿大吧，我想一个人替母亲举行葬礼，好吗？回去等我，这边处理完了我就回来！”莫尘两眼无神的对叶成林说道。
其实叶成林非常想陪莫尘一起办葬礼，但是既然莫尘都已经提出来了想自己办，她也就不好意思再要求什么。
“好！那你照顾好自己！我自己先回去！”叶成林勉强忍着难过。
莫尘把叶成林送出了医院，然后叶成林自己打车去了机场。
看着叶成林离去的背影，莫尘十分内疚。“对不起了，丫头，我们可能又要分开了……”莫尘喃喃自语道。
其实，莫尘知道，自己一旦回来，蒋林棕肯定会第一时间找到他，这一回来……可能又要失信于叶成林了吧……
这就是命运吧！叶成林刚回国，蒋独木就踏上了去找他的行程，然而，两个人就这样可惜的错过了……
叶成林回到了加拿大，莫尘就再也没有回来过…她像当年等蒋独木那样无比耐心得等着莫尘回来。
三个月后。
“hello，sir！ What can I do for you?”餐厅内，蒋独木正在点餐。
“Hello, excuse me！may I ask why my steak hasn't come yet?”没有注意的是，叶成林也在这家餐厅内。
“sorry.Miss, this is our fault. Maybe we just had a problem.”服务员非常诚恳的道了歉。
